About KAD Industries
KAD Industries is co-owned by Doug Abbey and Gary Grincavitch. KAD’s roots date back to 1979, when it was primarily a machine shop. In 2003, sheet metal fabrication capabilities were added to the mix with the purchase of a local fabrication shop.
Because of the blend of in-house capabilities, KAD Industries serves a wide variety of clients, from the average Joe looking for a simple knick-knack, to multi-million dollar companies looking to outsource their maintenance fabrication needs. Food service, industrial manufacturing, and local municipalities are just a few of the markets served by KAD.
KAD excels at all things metal. Our seasoned team of industry professionals is always ready for a new challenge. In house capabilities include shearing, bending, machining, welding, laser cutting, plasma cutting, rolling and more.

Areas of Expertise
FABRICATION
Our people and equipment are here to do all things metal. Whether it be bending, rolling, shearing, forming, punching, nibbling, or custom duct work - KAD will get it done. Bending and shearing of sheets up to 10’ wide in 1/4” thickness. Rolling plate up to 5’ wide. We can also roll structural shapes in-house. We use highly advanced software for our layouts, and we can fabricate incredibly complex sheet metal parts with ease.
FLAT SHEET LASER CUTTING
KAD Industries uses laser cutting to save our customers both time and money; whether it’s one piece, or 100,000. The laser cutting process is both precise and quick, and coupled with the highly advanced software we employ, allows us to take customer drawings and produce actual parts faster than the competition.
WELDING
Our welders have countless years of experience welding a wide variety of metals for numerous industries. Whether it’s going in a clean food processing plant, a greasy industrial machine, or in your home, we have the people, machines and know-how to accomplish the task. We weld in-house and on-site as the project dictates.
REVERSE ENGINEERING AND DESIGN
Often times KAD is called on-site to look at an existing piece of equipment that needs to be duplicated, repaired, or replaced. Sometimes that equipment has been customized or even fabricated without documentation. Our highly experienced staff can assist with the reverse engineering of your equipment and provide CAD services to create a model and drawing package that can be used to produce parts, or the whole assembly. Of course, we are always happy to offer a competitive fabrication quote for all designed parts.
CNC MACHINING
KAD Industries excels at short run and one-off jobs, but our equipment and staff are equally comfortable with production run quantities. Our machinists are industry veterans and have a passion for what they do. Our milling, turning and grinding equipment has been selected to support our shop and customer’s needs, and we are regularly upgrading equipment to suit customer needs. For applications that can’t be performed in-house, we have a select group of partner shops we work closely with to make sure all aspects of your machined parts are exactly as you expect them.
SUBCONTRACTED SERVICE
Sometimes your project will require a service that KAD does not perform in-house. Powder coating, sand-blasting, chrome plating, and heat-treating to name a few. Our partner vendors have been selected based on their excellent reputation and proven track record for reliability and professionalism. If we can’t do it, we know who can.
